Level 3 Prep: Pop, Rock, and Latin Line Dancing - restarts May 5
Designed for students who confidently dance the elements listed under the "Level 2" heading, Level 2 skills,

Ballroom, Latin, and Swing Line Dancing - restarts March 3
Whether you like the smooth waltz, the energetic salsa, or the upbeat swing you’ll find just what you’re looking for and more in this fun weekly line dance class. Learn and dance all the moves to classic and contemporary tunes. No partner needed. This is a solo dance class! This course has frequent "join dates", but because the line dances change each semester, dancers can continuously reenroll and always find fun, new material. Cost for "Level 3 Prep" and "Ballroom Line Dancing" classes:
$5.00 per class, when paid by the month. Payment due the first Tuesday of each month.
Drop-ins (anyone attending less than a full month of classes) are $7.00 per class.
Students choosing to drop in must have previous experience with material covered in class to date.
$4.50 per class, when paid by the month and taking more than one class in Chatham
Checks and cash only. Please make checks payable to "Cape Sands Ballroom".
Walk-in registration: please arrive a few minutes early for the first class to register.

Shoe Policy: Carry with you some non-marking, flat, flexible, closed-toe/heel/instep shoes that slide easily on the floor but provide sufficient traction to be safe when turning. Please plan to change into your dance shoes upon arrival. This helps Chatham Community Center keep their flooring clean and in great shape for everyone to enjoy. Not permitted in class: sandals, mules/slides/clogs, platforms, slingbacks, heels. Please make sure your shoes have some means of staying on your foot (tie or strap). Floor conditions vary from classroom to classroom and can be affected by humidity and other factors. Some students carry a dance bag with more than one type of shoe so they can match their choice of shoes to the current floor conditions.

Weather Cancellations
Cape Sands Ballroom Line Dance for Fun and Fitness class at Chatham Community Center will follow the
Monomoy Regional School District cancellation policy. When school is “CANCELED” or experiences a
“TWO HOUR LATE OPENING” by the Monomoy Regional School District due to severe weather, there will be no Cape Sands Ballroom Line Dance for Fun and Fitness class at Chatham Community Center.
Many television and radio stations carry closing announcements by the Monomoy Regional School District,
or you can see closings online here:

For severe weather cancellations, prepaid tuition will be credited toward the following month. Please note that tuition will only be credited when no class is held. If the decision of the Monomoy Regional School District is to keep school district classes in session during a storm because they deem the roads to be safe, we regret that no credit can be given should you decide not to attend line dance class.
