Accelerated Ballroom Dance!

What is Accelerated Ballroom Dance?

It's a two month period when I'll reteach the Waltz, Rumba, Foxtrot, and Swing

I taught over the last four months in the Wednesday Ballroom Classes, but compressed into only two months.

This is a great opportunity to join for an accelerated pace of instruction if you are a quick learner

or to review material you have previously studied.

Take the March semester or April or both.

And mark your calendar for a semester of Beginner Tango in May.

Casual attire

Special dance shoes are not required but please choose shoes from your wardrobe that are

non-marking, closed, with a flexible sole and some means of staying on your foot (tie or strap)

Carry shoes in and change upon arrival

This helps keep sand from the parking lot off the dance floor

Please arrive 10 minutes early for the first class to complete a registration form and make payment. Thank you.

$80.00 per couple for the four-session course - checks made payable to Cape Sands Ballroom

(includes 3 weeks of class plus the Dance Social)

Please note:

Dennis COA apologizes for some inconsistencies in the March/April copy of the "Cranberry Scoop" relating to programs

offered there by Cape Sands Ballroom. Following is the correct information:

Wednesday Afternoon Ballroom program

Program pricing: $80 per couple per month includes four weekly sessions, each 1.5 hours long. Instruction from 3:30 - 4:15 pm. Light potluck dance social from 4:15 - 5:00 pm. The fourth session of

each monthly semester is a Dance Social only.

The program is cumulative by the month but drop-ins ($10 per person) are welcome to attend

the Dance Social at the end of the month.

Dennis COA thanks you for your understanding.

Weather Cancellations

If the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District announces that schools will be closed due to inclement weather, Cape Sands Ballroom Line Dance classes will be canceled.  If the district announces a two-hour delay, classes will be held on schedule.  Cancellation postings can be found here:

https://www.capecod.com/newscenter/closings/

For severe weather cancellations, prepaid tuition will be credited toward the following month.  Please note that tuition will only be credited when no class is held.  If the decision of Cape Sands Ballroom is to keep classes in session during a storm because we deem the roads to be safe, we regret that no credit can be given should you decide not to attend a dance class.
